NEW YORK, May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — VertaMedia, an award-winning video monetization platform for publishers, has been named the winner of four Stevie® Awards at the 15th Annual American Business Awards.

VertaMedia earned a Silver Stevie in the Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year – Up To 2,500 Employees category, and was also awarded three Bronze Stevies in the following categories:

  • Company of the Year – Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations – Medium
  • Technical Innovation of the Year – At Organizations With Up to 1,000 Employees
  • Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year – Up to 2,500 Employees

Judges described VertaMedia as an “innovative” and “forward thinking” business, with one commenting: “VertaMedia’s decision in 2016 to focus on top publishers’ needs and identifying the current gap and pain point in the ads placement and monetization market led to great results: 462% year-on-year revenue growth; 900% customer year-on-year customer growth. This is one of the fastest growing tech companies of the year, hands down.”

Alex Bornyakov, founder of VertaMedia, commented: “We are delighted to have been named a quadruple winner in the prestigious American Business Awards, and congratulate all those nominated. This is a huge accolade for our ongoing team effort to make VertaMedia a leading force in the video advertising industry.”

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration.

Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards, commented: “Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud.”
